"Glagol" is the first poetry-themed restaurant-bar created by poets.
We opened it in the Petrogradskaya district — a historic hub of the Russian avant-garde — as a space for the comfortable enjoyment of culture: we draw culinary inspiration from the classics, explore metamodernism through our cocktails, and listen to contemporary poets and musicians in the main room. We’ve dedicated our bar menu to the poetic process — ranging from a flaming cocktail inspired by Pushkin’s line "to burn hearts with the Word" to shots honoring modern poetry nights. We also offer a selection of wines, spirits, and beers. The chef conceived the food menu as a continuation of the bar program, curating appetizers, snacks, and main courses that rhyme with the drinks.
